First, I spray painted the cedar light pink. Then I taped some stencils on and went over with brown spray paint. After it was all dry I went over the whole thing lightly with 120 grit sand paper. I added the swirlies with some white paint and sanded over them lightly as well.
The cool thing about stuff like this is if you mess it up or don't get good coverage with your spray paint, it's very forgiving when you distress it! I love easy stuff!
