Summer Bucket List

Thanks to Vanessa at See Vanessa Craft and Crystal at A Pumpkin and a Princess for this great idea!  A summer bucket list is such a fun way to plan activities for summer with your family.  I've created a list of 20 items, and hopefully between moving and birthday parties, I'll get a chance to do them all this summer!

Here's the list in my bucket:

1.  Take the kids in the Atlantic Ocean for the first time
2.  Build a bed sheet fort on a rainy afternoon
3.  Start a water balloon fight
4.  Go to the park with the HUGE gator that we drive by every day
5.  Make homemade sweet tea
6.  Pick a "Summer of 2012" theme song and play it too much
7.  Go berry picking
8.  Make s'mores
9.  Ride on a carousal
10. Go on an airboat ride
11. Kiss Josh in the rain
12. Have dinner at Medieval Times (nope, never been there!)
13. Go to the Titanic Museum
14. See a play
15. Go to a pottery painting place
16. Fly a kite
17. Go out for ice cream in our jammies
18. Make breakfast in bed for Josh
19. Go fishing
20. Create a wall gallery

Phew...it was hard work just making the list!

  3. As a teacher, things pile up throughout the year and I tell myself I will get caught up in the summer. Every year I make a summer list and I usually finish it. My list is must do's and have to do's. Each morning I look at the list and decide what I am going to do.

    Have fun with your list!

    1. I envy a teacher's summer off! I work full time, but this is my way of still making the summer about fun and family! Good luck with your list this year, and thanks for the great job you do with our children!
