Monogram Monday #2 - Sequins Monogram

Everyone loves sequins, right?  Ok, maybe not, but if done correctly, larger sequins can add a little glam to a room, especially when it's a monogram!

All you need to make this is two bags of large sequins (got mine at Joann's), glue (I used a glue stick, which was not awesome because the glue kept getting on my fingers, a glue gun would be better), and a poorly cut out letter from a baby diaper box.

  1. That's a good idea. I hadn't thought of doing a monogram with big sequins. I do love having letters and numbers about and that would definitely add some glitz. Thanks for stopping to comment on my end tables. So you want to paint some too? What color are you thinking?

    1. Thanks, Liz. I would love to make our end tables turquoise or blue. Right now they are espresso and charcoal, and I think Josh really likes them that way :(

  11. I found this post on At Home with K's linky party! The first thing I thought when I saw it is I HAVE to make one. The second thing that came to mind was those big sequin handbags that were so popular several years ago. I have a couple of those bags that I plan on taking apart and using the sequins for this project. Thanks for the ispiration!
