Wreath Wednesday #2 - Green Love Summer Wreath

Summer in Florida is all about the green.  Green grass, green palm trees, and blue-green waters.  This wreath is made with a medium florist wreath, light burlap, some green pattern fabric scraps, pins, cardboard, and chalkboard paint.

Just fold the fabric strips and wrap!  I used pins (glue is a little too permanent for me) to hold the fabric down on the back, and made a burlap flower by twisting and rolling a burlap scrap.

The chalkboard sign is cardboard from a baby diaper box.  Remember this?  Yeah.  I just taped it off and sprayed.  Another easy, can't mess it up project!

  10. Very pretty wreath. I love green. I've never worked with burlap before but need to give it a try!!

Also, I live in Florida too. I am a Christian as well and my husband is actually on staff at our church as the worship pastor and the children's pastor. I used to be on staff before staying at home with my two little people. Anyways just wanted to say hi. :)
